Ugandan presidential election: high stakes for regional security

Uganda  (at  least  for  most  parts  of  it)  has  seen  relative  peace and stability since the overthrow of Idi Amin in 1986.  Yet, three decades down the line, Ugandans have known  only  one  president ,  Yoweri  Kag uta  Museveni.  As  the  country  prepares  to  go  to  the  polls  in  February  2016,  Ugandans are likely to be stuck with the veteran leader, as  he is allowed to run for an unlimited number of times, after  he managed to change the constitution in 2005
